My darling photographer friend Brenda “tagged” me which means I’m supposed to share 6 “unspectacular quirks” about myself on my blog and then tag someone else. Thinking of 6 quirky things is definitely not a challenge, but thinking of 6 quirky things that I’m willing to share on the Darling Art blog … well, that’s going to take some thought!
Okay, here goes:
1. I have a thing for even numbers, especially the numbers 2, 4 & 8. Soooo … if I need to be up by 6:30 am I’ll set my alarm for 6:22 or 6:24 or 6:28 - but never, ever 6:30.
2. I have a bit of chocolate every single day. Sometimes (like yesterday) starting at breakfast. And we’re not talking about the healthy, low-sugar dark stuff but the rich, creamy, yummy milk stuff. Mmmmm … I. Love. Chocolate.
3. When I was a little I used to want my name to be Sabrina Holly Crystal. My little sister actually came up with the name and I thought it was the most beautiful name in the world!
4. I can’t sit still. If I have to (like at a meeting or at church) I fidget. I’m always much more settled and happy if I’m active, which is why The Biggest Loser campus looks like my version of heaven on earth. Oh to train with Jillian or Bob for 4 hours every day … I’d be worn out but very very happy!
5. I’m a morning person. I’d much rather go to bed early and wake up early then stay up late. Through some genetic mishap, my brain is hardwired to turn to mush after 9pm. It’s sad, but true.
6. I love to push buttons, place stickers and stamp things … which means my dream job would be to work at the post office. I’m seriously jealous whenever I go mail a package!

I’m with you on the morning person thing, I have trouble staying up late too! I always get up early UNLESS I have to - then I want to sleep late.
ha! i never knew about the numbers thing. i’m the same way with the number 4. if i put anything in the microwave, it’s always for 24, 44…etc. and of course i knew about the chocolate thing cause i’m the same way! can we see each other when you come up this month?
Oooh!! Pick me, pick me! (I can’t help but hear Donkey’s voice every time I say that- you know, from shrek!!)
And I know I’ve said it before, but it’s been an awfully long time…. I just love your clean style! My house is so cluttered, you would have to find someone else’s house to shoot my kids at. HA!! I don’t know how you pull it off- that clean look. It’s amazing.
This was fun to read! So don’t hear you on the morning person thing!! But I am glad for YOU that you can get up so early. . . ha!

I love reading the tagged items, every time I come across one it makes me realize my little idiosyncrasies are very normal :). Love the little girl on the stool, to cute! I’ve been tagged before but didn’t follow through with it
