I spent the 8 months leading up to Owen’s birth dreaming of all the newborn shots I wanted to take of him during the first two weeks of his life. But with his early arrival, the holidays, and three other monkeys to care for I quickly realized many of those “newborn” shots were going to have to happen on a slightly different time frame. So I developed a new plan that goes something like this: slow and steady wins the race.
I shot these close-ups of my little bug during weekly photo sessions over the last 7 weeks. Slow and steady? Yep. Worth the patience and effort? Most definitely!
