Welcome to the Darling Art blog where I plan to showcase recent work, post a sneak peek for current clients, and announce my travel schedule along with other important dates. My hope is that this blog can be enjoyed by both client and non-client alike. So visit often, leave a comment (if you feel so inclined), and most of all - enjoy!

It’s sweet . . . it’s simple . . . it’s darling . . . and it’s ART.

The Darling Art office is currently situated in the lovely college town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I do, however, travel for sessions. In 2008 I plan to photograph in Boston, Calgary, Salt Lake City, & Washington D.C. in addition to photographing children in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Me
I’ve been photographing professionally since early 2002, which means I’ve been putting my heart and soul into my work for some time now. I’m drawn to clean lines, beautiful light, and honest expressions. I love creating portraits that are both real and (most importantly) make you feel something wonderful.

And because no entry should be without an image, this is a family portrait taken via self-timer a few years back. Aren’t we a good-looking bunch?
